Meet THE TEAM

Chef Chris

When I was about 12 years old, I started working at a German restaurant in Flushing, New York, called Five Corners. My mother was a waitress there, so getting a job at that age was easy. It felt like working with family. I started by making potato pancakes, spending a full year focused on perfecting them, and never looked back.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked in and managed restaurants, catering halls, and private kitchens, sharing meaningful moments and memories with the people I’ve cooked for. Most recently, I served as Executive Chef at Barrique Kitchen & Wine Bar and The Babylon Mercantile, where I continued developing a style rooted in seasonal ingredients, refined technique, and genuine hospitality. During this time, I also graduated from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.

Giving back to the community has become a core part of my life. In 2022, I became a professional ultrarunner, organizing and completing charitable runs to raise awareness for mental health. My longest run was 351 miles from Lake George to Montauk, an experience that tested every part of who I am and strengthened my purpose both in and out of the kitchen. (More information and photos are linked below if you’d like to explore.)

Today, cooking private events is where everything I’ve lived and learned comes together. It allows me to connect with people in a personal way, through food, stories, and shared experiences. I don’t just cook meals. I create moments that stay with you. I look forward to creating those moments with you.

Chef JUSTIN

My passion for cooking began at a young age. I have always been drawn to creativity and to making others happy, and I quickly realized that food was the perfect bridge between the two. What started as a necessity to help my parents by preparing family dinners slowly became something much deeper.

Over time, I discovered that cooking gave me a rare sense of purpose. It allowed me to express myself freely, but more importantly, it gave me the opportunity to create moments. Watching my loved ones smile as they enjoyed a meal I prepared , and seeing them fully present at the table, made me realize that food is more than nourishment. It is connection.

I believe cooking has a unique ability to bring people together in a way few other things can. Through food, we explore culture, history, and identity. It is a lens into how people around the world, both past and present, live and celebrate.

With over ten years of experience in hospitality, I have worked both front and back of house in environments ranging from American fare and authentic Italian cuisine to two Michelin-star restaurants that fuse American and Korean flavors with modern technique. This variety of experience has taught me to deeply respect both the craft and the guest.

When I cook for private events, this is what I strive to bring to every guest: intention, creativity, and a genuine sense of warmth. My goal is not simply to serve a meal, but to create an experience rooted in passion and shared joy.

Kind Words From

Our Guests

  • "Chris is by far the best Chef we've ever worked with. He does many of our family events and it's perfect every time. From the service, to the presentation, to the taste of the food, and of course the cleanup! There is not one bad thing I can say about him. I usually just give him an idea as to what I'm looking for and let him run with the rest! Class act and tremendous chef!"

  • "I used Chef Chris for two of my events and he was amazing! I first hired him for my bachelorette in the Hamptons during Cinco de Mayo, and he created the most delicious Mexican dinner. Not to mention, he got along great with my crazy friends. When my birthday came around, I knew I had to have him again. He made yummy Italian food for me and my guests, and dessert. We have a call beforehand to create the menu and Chris will literally make whatever you want. I can't wait to have another event to hire him again, he is truly the best!"
