AT HOME PASTA CLASSES

Chef Christopher LaMagna teaching a guest how to shape pasta dough during an at-home pasta class
The experience

Lets Cook.
Together.

You're at the counter with flour on your hands, feeling when the dough is ready, rolling it out yourself. I'm right there the whole time guiding every step, keeping it honest and making sure you actually understand what you're doing and why. We have fun! The vibe is relaxing. I encourage a glass of wine, or two. Cooking shouldnt be intimidating.

We go from raw ingredients to a full meal, together. The pasta takes about an hour. Then we plate up, sit down, and eat what you built. Salad, fresh pasta, dessert. Real food, made with your hands. When the meal is done, we take care of all the cleanup as well.

Zoom or Phone Consultation

Before we arrive, we jump on a quick Zoom call to talk through your group, any dietary restrictions, and most importantly what pasta shape you want to learn. Every class is built around that conversation so the experience fits your group exactly.

We arrive with everything

We show up with all our own equipment: pasta machine, boards, cutters, every tool and ingredient you'll need. You don't need to shop for anything in advance. Just have counter space and we'll handle the rest.

The class timing is about 1 hour, step by step, no rushing

We work through it together from the beginning. Mixing the dough, kneading it, resting it, rolling it out, cutting or shaping it, whichever shape we decided on. I walk you through every stage. Questions encouraged, mistakes welcome. There's no rushing, and by the end of it you know exactly what you did and why.

Then you sit down and eat

When the pasta is done, we cook it, plate it, and you eat. The meal includes a salad course, your fresh pasta course with a sauce we build together, and dessert. The food you made becomes the meal.

Full cleanup before we leave

Once the meal is cleared, we clean everything up. The kitchen goes back to exactly how we found it. You end the night with a full stomach, a new skill, and zero dishes to deal with.

Fun, hands-on, and something you'll actually talk about.

Skip the restaurant and stay in! Everyone gathers around the counter, gets flour on their hands, and makes something together. Filled pasta is always a hit for this class, ravioli or tortellini. The group has a blast, the food is incredible, and it becomes the best part of the whole weekend. We easily schedule around the itinerary of the planned weekend to make this come together seamlessly.

Corporate Team Building

Better than a conference room. Better than a dinner reservation.

Teams work better when they've made something together. We break into stations, work through the pasta as a group, and everyone contributes. No kitchen in the office? No worries, we have induction burners and will happily make it work! The energy is always right, competitive where it needs to be, fun throughout. And then the whole team sits down to a proper meal together.

Popular Shape: Orecchiette or Tagliatelle Group Size: 8+ people Great For: Offsites, celebrations, team events

Good to Know

Do I need any experience?

None at all. The class is designed for all skill levels! First-timers welcome. I walk you through every step from scratch. If you've never touched pasta dough before, this class is the best place to start.

What pasta shapes can we make?

Any shape your heart desires. We decide this together on our pre-class consultation call. Options range from simpler shapes like pappardelle, tagliatelle, and fettuccine to more involved shapes like orecchiette, gnocchi, or filled pasta like ravioli or tortellini depending on your group's interest. Something for every level.

What's included in the price?

$150 per person covers everything: all equipment and tools, all ingredients, travel, full staffing, the pre-class Zoom consultation, a salad course, your fresh pasta course with sauce, dessert, and complete kitchen cleanup. The only things not included are gratuity, applicable sales tax, and any protein add-on if you want to add one.

Can I add a protein course?

Yes! If your group wants a meat or seafood course alongside the pasta, that can be added on. Pricing depends on what you have in mind. Bring it up on our Zoom call and we'll build it into the evening.

How many people can you accommodate?

The class works well for intimate groups and larger parties alike. It's a great bachelorette activity, birthday experience, date night, or corporate team event. Let us know your headcount and we'll make sure the setup works for your space.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes, always. Let us know about any allergies or dietary needs during the consultation call and we'll work them into the menu. Egg-free pasta, gluten-free options, and other accommodations are available.

Where do you travel to?

We serve Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk Counties), New York City (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens), and the Hamptons. If you're outside these areas, reach out and we'll let you know if we can make it work.

How far in advance should I book?

Weekend dates and summer evenings fill up quickly. A few weeks to even months ahead is a good rule of thumb. For holidays or peak season, earlier is always better. Check the live booking calendar to see current availability.
