Event details — date, time, location, guest count, dietary notes, and selected package.
Payment data — processed securely by Stripe; we never store card numbers or banking information.
Communications — emails, confirmations, and follow-up correspondence through Resend.
Technical data — cookies or analytics automatically collected by our website host (Squarespace) for performance and security monitoring.

2) How We Use Information

To process bookings, send confirmations, and manage event logistics.
To verify transactions and issue receipts through Stripe.
To comply with local, state, and federal recordkeeping or tax obligations.
To protect against fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.
To communicate relevant updates or operational notices with your consent.

3) Legal Basis for Processing

We process information under one or more lawful bases: performance of a contract (your booking), compliance with legal obligations, legitimate business interests (fraud prevention and communication), and explicit consent when required.

5) Retention & Security

Data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described. Financial records are kept for up to seven (7) years to comply with IRS and NY State recordkeeping laws. All data transmission uses SSL encryption, and access to records is limited to authorized personnel only.
